BALLET DANCE:
Classes work at the barre for technique and strength skills.
Center and across the floor steps develop balance, speed and strength.
This class is not all slow, many jumps and quick steps are learned.
Traditional classical music is used for conventional ballet, some praise and worship music is used for turns and leaps.
Fine motor skills, muscle memory, strength and technique are developed in this class along with vocabulary and memory skills.

I am interested in enrolling my daughter in your class. She is 9 and has some experience.
She is welcome to begin classes now, however we are working on recital routines in all the classes and it is too late for her to participate in the recital this year since we have already ordered and received all the costumes. I have lots of people that begin late in the season though and still enjoy learning the routines without performing them. Being 9, she would be in a level 2 class (ages 7 to 9) or if she is almost 10 and has the experience that you say, she could be in a level 3 class (ages 10-12) Depending on which style of dance she is interested in, -there is room in many of the classes. You can email be directly at heathersdance@att.net or call 517-256-2074 to speak with me about which ones are too full for another student. I look forward to hearing from you.
