Where do I get shoes for a level 1 dancer…white with a rubber sole?
Thanks, Niki Kirby
White tumbling shoes can be purchased at Bottoms Up in Okemos or come to the studio on open enrollment day and get sized and order them from me. Be sure you have her with you when you get them because tumbling shoes fit small. She would wear at least 2 sizes bigger than her street shoe.
I want to get my little sister into dance, and she wants to as well, but she’s afriad that she’s not flexible enough to dance and do tumbling. She’s eight and has no dance experience except for dancing at home.
It’s never too late to start tumbling or dancing. Flexibility can be developed. I would recommend that she take a summer camp, then sign up in the fall for a class. If she doesn’t feel that she is good enough, she should talk to me before dropping out, sometimes it takes a little while longer to develop the “groove” I will have my summer schedule posted within a week or two.
